Tara Davis Invitational
The Tara Davis Invitational is a premier track and field event hosted by Agoura High School in honor of alumna and Olympic gold medalist Tara Davis-Woodhall, celebrating her athletic legacy and inspiring regional competitors.

Overview
Working within a five-day production timeline and an existing brand system, I designed all event graphics and produced print-ready materials in collaboration with printers, applying prior production experience to guide technical decisions.
On-site materials were designed for clarity and scale, ensuring easy navigation while maintaining a consistent brand presence across signage, banners, maps, and communications.

Brand System Cleanup
The brand initially lacked consistency and relied on limited, low-resolution assets. I rebuilt the visual foundation by vectorizing existing logos, developing a cohesive print color palette, and organizing a comprehensive logo suite for scalable use. This established consistency across both digital and physical materials.
Event Map Design
Another challenge of the project was translating dense logistical notes and a Google Maps reference into a clear event map. I simplified complex information by introducing a visual hierarchy, reducing and refining shapes, and incorporating symbols and directional arrows to improve navigation. Throughout the process, I balanced clarity with visual restraint to prevent clutter and maintain readability.

Beyond the event map, the visual system was applied across a range of materials throughout the event. These pieces reinforced consistency while adapting to different formats and use cases.
